Stay Hotel Lisboa Centro Saldanha - Lisbon

Staying in a room with a view of the New Year's fireworks made our evening cozy and special, especially after a long day of exploring the city. The central bus stop right outside was a huge convenience.

* excellent location * friendly and helpful staff * clean room and bathroom, fresh towels and bedlinen * comfortable bed * unlimited breakfast buffet (although quite basic, no fruit, no vegetables) * parking lot in the street

* the hotel needs some renovation * mould in the room and wardrobe * difficult to warm up the room (humidity) * window did not close properly * no wifi in the rooms, only in the breakfast room and it did not always work * too expensive for what you get

truly enjoyed this good budget hotel, particularly good location and newly remodelled rooms. the room we had included it's own balcony and openable french windows. the staff were excellant and extremely friendly, everything was nice.

do recommend for a short break

Comfortable room, clean bathroom, with a great buffet breakfast served until noon, making it easy to enjoy a leisurely morning before exploring the city using the convenient nearby public transport.

Excellent service! Really nice and friendly staff! Very good ambient and very clean! I didn't expect that much for the cheap price!!! Reaaally good, I can just recommend!

The location is good, around 10-15 minutes walk from Parc Eduardo Vii. What's more, it's just a short stroll away from the heart of the city.

Good Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception. Luggage storage was convenient, but room had no fridge.

The presence of an open-air enclosed parking lot that is very close and very economical. So leaving the car to get to the hotel was no problem.

size of the room, layout of the bathroom (with the toilet attached to the sink, making it very uncomfortable) and lack of air conditioning. It is true that it was announced in the "small print", indicated FAN (and they provided me with one), I did not read it: next time I will be more careful. If I had known, I would not have stayed there, because in Lisbon, in summer, it is very hot. In short, I have the impression that in Spain people are more demanding when it comes to awarding stars to a hotel. However, on this same trip, we stayed in two hotels of the same chain, called STAY (in Évora and Coimbra) and they were completely different, modern and functional. Maybe when they reform this one in Lisbon (which seems to need it already), it will be put on the same level.

Our room wasvery comfy and tidy, with a good shower and not blocked! Loved the daily bottle of water and the friendly help from the reception staff. Perfect location with easy access to buses. I'd totally come back!

The hotel is clean, and we loved how spacious our room was. Mr Ricardo at reception provided us with invaluable tips for the city, which saved time. We even enjoyed visiting the nearby Churrascaria for some delicious local food, perfect for our big family.

My kids wished for a better breakfast selection.

A very nice stay for 1 or two nights. Fairly clean low-budget hotel with very hospitable and particularly helpful staff. A good choice of food at breakfast, such as bread and cereal. Exceptionally nice location - 10 minutes walk to downtown.

A hotel with central location and good transport links. The room was large, with nice view to a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was rich, staff was very helpful. Good value for the money.

The furniture needs renovation.
